Teardropped opalized wood that just sang to me from the lapidarists table. They were like “come get meeeeee” and I complied, and so happy I did. The color striations, hues, and fractal lines are just irresistible. I hope that part of me gets gemified one day like this ancient tree.
Bezels are 1.25 inches long and .75 inches wide. With the 20 gauge sterling earwire, they hang 1.75 inches long. If you are looking for lightweight earrings, I wouldn’t suggest these, but they aren’t that heavy: when I wear them, there is only the slightest pull at the lobe.
