Oval wire wrapped dendrite agate ring size 5.25

I wanted to make a ring, the style of which I’ve never seen before anywhere, and I came up with this. 30mm long and 18mm wide sterling ring with a stunning dendrite agate stone, wrapped and patinated in about 3 different colors (charcoal, orange, and a bit of green). Split wire band with a makers mark on back, size 5.25.

I started metalsmithing out a desire to work with stones like these. The fractal dendrite (tree-like) designs and inclusions match well with my biophilic botanical work. I always start with the stone, and design around it, striving to dignify and complement the dendrite as much as possible.
