Hand dyed shibori silk/wool blend scarf 4

All items are handmade and are one of a kind from foraged wild and domesticated plants. Shibori is a technique of hand tying and stitching fabric to resist dye. For this line of work, I incorporate the botanical (indigo) as the dye itself, instead of using the botanical as a photogram.

Chinese silk and wool blend 11 x 60 inch scarf hand tied and dyed with natural indigo. Translucent but with deep dark blues and wearable both in the heat of summer and the chilliness of winter for year round use. Can be used as a table runner as well

One of kind; color is set and will not bleed. Silk and wool are both animal proteins, not fibers, so while translucent and deceptively delicate-looking, the material is quite sturdy.

Hand wash with biodegradable soap: iron for peak look.
